as expected, the past 10 days have literally FLOWN by. i leave in 24 hours, and my bags are finally packed with not a pound to spare, thanks to the incredibly efficient "rolling technique" copyright lmm, superboss. i know, i know, i should probably reconsider some of the stuff i'm taking... have mom send it maybe? (or not take it at all). the "solution" of taking things out and transferring them to my carry-on only works when my dad is my pack animal. but dad's not coming to florence, and falling over from an overweight hiking backpack isn't really all that fun, especially when you're lugging 2 suitcases behind you.
oh wellll. i'm sure everything will work itself out somehow. i just cannot wait to be cruisin' into the train station in florence, seeing the poly kids, and getting ready for la via bella in firenze! i'm already starting to regret only getting through two units of lesson one rosetta stone. hmm... that's what phrase books are for, right?
the next time i wirte, i'll be abroad, kids. don't miss me too much!!
